Yesteryear Collection

In 1909, John E. Withers left the cold northern winters behind and moved his family to the warm, welcoming city of Miami, Florida. He brought with him two valuable assets: experience in moving goods and a strong business sense.
At the time, Miami was a new and growing tourist destination — full of opportunity. With just one horse and wagon, Withers met train passengers and carried their luggage to the Royal Palm Hotel. This small venture marked the start of Withers Transfer and Storage — and the beginning of a long tradition of service.
Over the next 50 years, Withers’ sons and grandsons continued to grow and expand the family business.

Notes: Tangley Models and Trainline Models bought the designs of the original Creak models after Eric Creak stopped producing the Alternative Collection. These models, although Creaks models, have no numbers underneath on the baseplates but are numbered on the box - These models are just as desirable in their own right.

This model is packaged in its original Y13 straw-style window box.
